Pizza Fiore Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. Most pizzas at Pizza Hut are high in sodium and hence you must stick to one or max. two slices of any regular size pizza to limit your sodium intake. Try out the salads as they are not only healthy but also keeps you full for a longer period. However, you must ensure that you don't order the salads without any extra dressing.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Working in the Miami Shores area I came to realize that there are not many options for lunch. We had a business meeting at the office 2 months ago and the vendor decided to order from Pizza Fiore. They ordered an assortment of pies and I was very happy with just about every stlye I tasted. The only pie I was not too crazy about was the barbecue chicken. Since then I visited the restaurant once and decided to dine in for lunch alone. I was in the mood for the pizza but quickly found out that they only sell pizza by the pie, not by the slice. Considering I already knew how much I liked their pizza I decided to order a peperonni pie for myself. I had a few slices and a soda and had to take the rest home with me. The service was good and quick. The food came out hot and on time. I would say that their pizza tends to be a bit pricey but there are not many options in this area so I cannot complain too much.

My family and I have eaten here twice and ordered for catering once. The food is just plain GOOD. Delicious, well-made, flavorful, good portions . I love the pasta dishes. Not expensive and nice for a family dinner or catering for guests. The owner is very nice and we had great experiences here. I give Pizza Fiore an "A"!

We ordered for delivery and were very impressed! We got two pizzas and wings and it was all very tasty, and the food came quickly

Family Restaurant. Large portions. Friendly staff. If you're high maintenence or in a rush, you may be disappointed. It's not Andiamo or Piola, but it will do. Cannoli's are "Yummy"!

I visit this restaurant for the last two years and is always a hit!! This is a family, sit in, friendly service and great food!!! Can't complaint, what I really like about this restaurant outside the amazing food is the fact they're quick!! Always friendly staff and quick service! I don't understand how the before me "yelps" would be a complaint... This is a family a restaurant and and a neighborhood restaurant. The manager is friendly, attentive and caters to your specifics, which is a plus! I don't certain food and he eliminates it and prepares a personal meal!! Two thumbs up!

I found the pizza to be just like those big corporate pizza places. Cardboard. The service was great and the location was good as we'll.

I always have the subs here but today I tried the Pasta with shrimp and scallops in pink sauce and it's absolutely amazing!!

Still undecided. I've gone twice and had pizza both times. I want to like it because of its location, but have gone out for pizza twice since and found myself at Steve's and then at Harry's. Oh well, I'll give it another try one day ...if they make it, every time I drive by it is empty.

I'm rewriting my review as things have improved somewhat here. We had to order from Pizza Fiore since Pizza Hut is SOOO BAAADDDD. We ordered a large thin crust and it was actually quite good! Highly recommended. Tonight we ordered the same pizza, awesome, and we ordered spaghetti and meatballs and Chicken Parmesan. The sauce was interestingly tangy on the spaghetti, but the meat balls are obviously not home made....come on guys...if you make nothing else, please make your own meatballs, and for that matter, make your own pasta too! Anyone can open a restaurant and buy everything frozen from Sysco and put it together...no creativity, and one needs only minimal culinary training to put together food from a box.

I am torn between 2 and 3 stars, here's why: this place definitely made me feel like "meh, I've had better", however, it's just your average New Jersey Diner version of wanna-be mediocre Italian food that half of America is used to, so, 2 stars.

You know how I do: 1. Went today, so this is a RARE, timely review. Took a potential client from MRA Design (across the street) out for lunch. 2. I had a chicken special and the two lovely ladies I was with did too. I had the season and yada yada chicken with penne. The sauce tasted like blended tomatos. The pasta was just overcooked. Solid 3 stars and that's about it... 3. The service: Terrible. The waiter is just difficult to comprehend, and doesn't write anything down, and forgot one of the orders, and came back 3 times to double ask what we wanted to eat and drink. Fail. Go if you are starving, but don't get your hopes up.

My parents taught me that if I had nothing good to say, to not say anything and usually I have reviewed places that I love...but, the experience I just had at Pizza Fiore needs a review. I am a long time Miami Shores resident, so when a Mommy friend told me lets try the new place in the Village and take the kids for dinner, I immediately jumped at the opportunity. When we arrived the place was packed with Miami Shores families and it was great to greet so many friends. We sat down and I checked in both in foursquare and Yelp. We ordered our soft drinks, garlic rolls and two plates of tortellini and the ravioli.... The drinks came out, then the rolls after 10 minutes and then we waited and waited and waited for the entrees. I asked politely twice and by the time I saw that another table that was sat later than us had received their food I told the waiter our kids were getting hungry and to please hurry with the food or we would leave. 45 minutes had passed when the tortellinis - one w pink sauce, one with Alfredo sauce and the Ricotta Ravioli arrived. The tortellini in pink sauce tasted "fishy" - so my mommy friend decided not to have them. The raviolis were okay. What happened next was what is making me write this review.... the owner happened to pass by the table and I introduced myself and politely told him that we had waited a bit too long for our food. Instead of trying to listen and take recommendations, he became confrontational! "The kitchen was too small" "How can I serve 70 people at the same time" "He had lived in Miami Shores since 1990" "He had another business with double the kitchen space" "The sauce was fresh so there was no reason for it to taste fishy" "His wife was in PR" ... it actually became almost laughable that no matter what I tried to say was confronted with a reasoning that made no sense. It was almost like he had inherited all these problems and he was not going to own to any of them. When I recommended that maybe, just maybe, he might want to take reservations if the kitchen was too small so he wouldn't have unhappy customers he retorted "and, what, turn people away?" Exasperated, (and friends know that doesn't happen frequently) I said "Well, you are turning them away anyway" I paid for the experience of being reprimanded $55 and I'm definitely not going back for more! Why would I go to a place that "has a kitchen that is too small to serve " or that has a very vocal owner who gets exasperated by recommendations? Thanks, but no thanks!

Ok, I like the pizza and I'm a simple order person (cheese pizza). Today really pissed me off, though. I ordered two pizzas and a dozen garlic rolls (I think their garlic rolls are the only reason I go back). They delivered the pizza but not the garlic rolls. I called and asked that either they credit my cc back for the rolls but the guy assured me they would deliver them. Two phone calls more and a hour and a half later and still no garlic rolls. I did get a refund for the rolls, but three stars because this should not have been this big of a hassle.

Arrived about 9:30pm & there were 2 tables taken. No one greeted us (ignored us) so I asked if they were still open. Yes open, but waited 10 minutes for a menu because employees seem to be getting ready to close. Ordered Margarita pizza extra crispy. Got regular cheese pizza undercooked. Salad dressing options were not offered so we took what was given. The pizza was tasty (but not crispy). The food on a nearby table looked great. Will give it another try, but judging from other reviews I guess that's as good as the service gets. They really need to step it up in this department. If they do, a def higher rating.

I was happy to see a familiar name coming to Miami Shores. And I told myself they better do a good job, because news on the Village run really fast. Specially if you are not doing a good job. They are busy, so you need to be patient. Which I don't' mind. I'm not going anywhere . Its dinner. Service is good. Close to very good actually. Everyone is doing something which it tells me they are trying really hard. It might not be all perfect, but what other options you have in Miami Shores? Mama Jennys? I don't think so. Pizza, Pasta, its al OK. I'm not dying to get it again. But I'm not disgusted by it either. Garlic Bread is actually good. Had the Alfredo carbonara it is alright. And the cheesecake was pretty good too.

Visited for lunch last Wednesday, table of 5. Service was a tad slow. I don't like sodas in a can but the pizza/salad/prices make up for it. The atmosphere is dingy, ugly. But the pizza really was fabulous!!! Table of 5 (4 men + me). We ordered extra large meaty pizza & everyone had a side salad. The extra large was in 10 extra large slices - - - we could not eat it all!! It was huge, but oh so good. 5 sodas, 5 salads, 1 extra large pizza - I believe our bill was maybe $60. Cannot beat the price for the quality of food. Just don't go expecting a nice place, because this isn't it! :) With the right expectations, this may become your favorite pizza joint.

This place was OKAY! The salad doesn't come with enough dressing. The pizza was cold for delivery. I paid for an extra topping feta cheese and I got like three cubes. This would probably only be a last resort for pizza next time. ):

Went in there yesterday to order 2 pizzas for takeout. The waiter was unable to answer my question about their takeout pizza deals. He told me to talk to the woman behind the counter. The woman took a long time to acknowledge me, as she was very busy playing with their POS system. She was also talking with another customer about her bill. She definitely saw me there though... eventually the owner came out to assist me, and he was very helpful answering my questions. Then I ordered BASIL and tomato on one of my pizzas, and the lady behind the counter put the order in as BACON and tomato. The bacon was not good either. Plus the pizzas were a bit overcooked. Overall this place really needs to amp up their customer service. They need people who are friendly, attentive, and take orders correctly. When that happens, I will go back.

We go to the restaurant about twice a month and order pizza about once a month. We love the calzone for two with basel and tomatoe and their pizzas are amazing! Either take out or a relaxing dinner you can't beat it. Great prices, great services. We are regulars.

I live just down the street and finally decided to give it a go. FIrst let me say I am not a big pizza eater, so I did not have pizza. I order fried calamari anc chicken wings, they were both awful. The calamari were frozen and horrible, the wings were bland and the sauce was worse. The only thing good I got was the marinar sauce that came with the calamari. the rolls were ok. the restaurant itself is cute and welcoming, the food at least what I had was not so great.

Wow, this was the VERY WORST pizza experience in my life. I own a restaurant, so I understand the dynamics.....My gut feeling was to leave, once I saw the scowl on the face of the waitress, sadly I decided to go for it. Simple beer and a pizza. I asked for a thin crust pepperoni with fresh basil under the sauce. Usually if a pizza goes wrong it's because of an inferior sauce, or toppings. In this case the sauce & toppings were passable, however, the dough base was the most inedible thing I have ever tried to eat. THIS IS THE VERY BASIS AND FOUNDATION OF THE MEAL, "GET THE CRUST DOWN PAT" My wife is gluten free, a pizza base without gluten is a horrible experience at the best of times, it simply doesn't work. This base was like eating baked cardboard, worse then the best GF one available. Now I know things can go wrong, but when the miserable waitress finally asked if the meal was good??? I replied "it was the very worst pizza crust I have ever tried, I can't eat it". She told me she would go and tell "them" about it. I saw her talk to 2 people, neither of "them" came over, nor did she offer me any remedy. I left 7 of 8 slices, the slice I ate was one bite, then the topping from that slice. I realized that nobody had any interest in my disappointing meal, nor could they care less......INCREDIBLE, THIS IS A WORD OF MOUTH BUSINESS....Anywho, I was given the check with no reduction, nor any apology whatsoever......PLEASE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, a restaurant is about pleasing people, not giving them disgusting, inedible food and basically giving them the silent finger should they make a complaint....The fact that the owner/manager could not care less is very, very scary.

We were happy with our visit today (Sunday lunch). This was the first Pizza Fiore I have tried, and I will go back. There was a wall of lunch specials with good prices. However, we ordered from the menu: large caesar salad to share ($8), and the Pizza Fiore pizza, with chicken, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. The XL size was $19.95. We ordered iced tea to drink, and tiramisu for dessert, to go. 1) The brewed unsweet iced tea was good, and we got all the refills we wanted. 2) The caesar salad came out first, and it was very large, with a good dressing. If I have any minor suggestions for the salad, it would be to serve it on a cold/refrigerated plate. 3) Along with the salad, our server brought us garlic knots (3). They were hot, freshly baked, and topped with lots of garlic. We approve! 4) The pizza was big, and delicious. We were especially pleased with the crust, and mushrooms were fresh, which is important to me. We had pizza to take home for later. 5) The tiramisu was very good. However, it was so cold that there were some ice crystals in it, and we took it home and ate it about 15 minutes later (without refrigerating it first). :) I was worried/skeptical since some of the Yelp reviews were poor. However, we were pleased with our experience. We plan to go back to try the pastas and sandwiches, and glad that a nice place has taken over the old Village Cafe space!

Don't waste your time ordering from here. Customer service is awful and delivery takes forever. Pizzas are made half hazardously with cheap ingredients. Sad to say this 'cause I love the one on the beach.

I was really excited to learn that a pizza place opened in the Shores & I was looking forward to the newest addition to our limited downtown area. Not sure if I wasn't in the mood, but the menu seemed boring. Nothing special. After studying the menu as I just could not find anything appealing, I ordered a slice - which was large, hot & okay. I must stay the garlic rolls were amazing. Service was okay, my server was sweet but unengaged. Disappointing.

Pizza in the good hood done modestly, but delicious and right. Personable, casual service. Tray Tiramisu has begged my pick up order in several evening dessert attacks. Easy comfort food winner. I wore pj/sweatpants to dinner.

First time we tried this location. Previous ones were on the beach. It didn't dissapoint. Garlic roles were great. We had the fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken which was just OK but also the stuffed shells with cheese that was great. Service was good. The waiter was very attentive.

Had a few great meals there, love the warm atmosphere, great service. Ordered Pizza to go a few times, one of the best... Only reason not 5 stars is the eggplant pamigiana (sp?) we order to go, pretty tin layer of eggplant on top, and rest pasta.....tasty, but we felt a bit ripped off......

I called in an order. They said pick up in 20 minutes & it was ready! The place is quaint, empty for a Wednesday evening but the pizza was good. $15 for a large, 2 toppings. I'd recommend. It wasn't the best I've ever had but worthy!

small little pizza place by my work. I came with two coworkers here. the place feels a little stuffy, like no air was circulating. we came at lunch time, there were only two other tables taken. they have decently priced lunch specials, between $5-$9. we all got the Philly special, comes with fries and a drink. the sandwich was not great, greasy and mostly bread and mayo. the fries were cooked well. service was slow, considering there weren't a lot of other customers. the entire lunch took about an hour.

I ordered Eggplant Parmigiano since this restaurant is close to my house, it was convenient. The dish was hot - a plus - but basically not edible. The slices of eggplant were paper-thin and covered with a ton of breading, on top of some spaghetti, with a thick layer of cheese on top. There was almost no tomato sauce, it was a dry affair. It comes with a few halfway decent garlic rolls and it was a generous portion, enough for a couple of meals. The service was good and the waiters were nice but the food was awful. It's a MUST MISS. And not inexpensive either.

I want to start saying that I have never eaten in, I always do pick-up or delivery. The pizza is simply 3 stars, no more than that. The wings, however, are one of the best I have had. They are fresh, and tasty. The reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because they never get your order right. I always ask them to give me ranch instead of bleu cheese, and until this day, I have never gotten the ranch sauce. Also giving that they are located 5 blocks away from my house, they always take 45mins to 1hr to deliver (That's why I started doing pick up) Today was the worst of all my orders. I ordered a fiore burger, I asked the girl on the phone if it came with fries, to which she answered: "No, you can get a side of fries" So, I did. When my order arrived 50 mins after I called, I realized that the burger actually comes with fries and I had ordered a separate side. Why? for nothing. There is always things like this when ordering. Last time they even forgot to give me my soda, I had to remind the guy about it. They are nice and friendly, but for such a tiny place, with so many staff around, they NEVER take an order right.

    (2)
  • Mimi J.

This place is the worse place to order from. I work 6 days a week and I order delivery out. I asked the girl on the phone if they deliver and gave her my address she said she would find out and let me know. she took my order and asked for my card number and info and I PAID FOR MY FOOD. She then calls me and tells me no they can't deliver to me after I already paid. instead of checking first, she took my money to then tell me i cant have my food. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE. Not very good food and terrible service. IF THERE WAS A NEGATIVE STAR THIS PLACE TAKES THE CAKE.

As crappy as Village Cafe was, the dining options in Miami Shores were so few and far between I was actually sad to see it go. Lo and behold once I saw the "Pizza Fiore coming soon" sign on the door the angels began singing and the skies opened up with sunshine. I used to live in Normandy around the corner from the North Beach location so I had always been a big fan of this place especially the delicious lasagna, the grilled chicken & guacamole sandwich, and the combo pasta. Sure enough this week the Miami Shores location of Pizza Fiore is now open! We ordered the Rigatoni Vespucci and the Antipasto salad. The light cream sauce of the Vespucci was exactly as delicious as I remembered it. I can't wait to order some of my old favorites. Shores Residents take note - Don't bother calling Mama Jennie's again for pasta. Pizza Fiore absolutely destroys MJ's sorry pasta dishes in every way possible. In addition their subs are great and very reasonably priced. Welcome to the Shores Pizza Fiore!!!!

  • Emily S.

It's okay. My mom likes this place and she'll order pizza to get delivered, and everytime I eat it I just think it's, "meh." It's honestly not that great, but I will say it's better than Pizza Hut or Domino's. I've eaten at this place I think, twice. The service is mediocre at most.

    (2)
  • Nico J.

We love Fiore. We eat either at this one or the one of ne 79th Miami beach at least once per week. Same owners fir these two, despite this being a local franchise with various owners. The crust is good, but great. Service is good, not great. But its always reliable. If you want atmosphere, go to Andiamo. But for everyday pizza joint that's not gonna kill your wallet, we prefer Fiore.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
